JJ Models was created in 1995 by a group of modelers.

The Company has become well known in Italy as the first to produce resin kits of characters from Japanese hit cartoon series of the 70’s and from Italian comics.

Later, JJ Models started producing sculptures of its own creations, becoming specialized in female and fantasy figures in 1/6 scale.

Not being completely satisfied with the quality of the copies, in 1997 JJ created a lab to deal directly with the production and in a very short time a very good quality was reached, thanks to the best resins, metals and rubber molds available, that are used for casting .

The desire to produce interesting model kits and the artistic admiration found in the expression of female figure beauty has brought JJModels to be known as a leader among the producing companies in this field. 

We’re always looking for new solutions in order to get the best results. Innovative materials and fine details are the main features of JJ Models sculptures. Each model is in a limited and numbered edition that includes a collectable card and a introducing comic or a poster.

Among our favourite pieces are the ones included in New Era Art Series, born with the new millenium, that represents in a new way the classic themes of ancient art. Beautiful representations of the opposites, like "Good" and "Evil" rich with sacred and profane themes, always interpreted by female characters. In the Fantasy world the passion towards Dragons and Magic is giving birth to new, original, and highly detailed kits.

JJ Models, believes in the value of mutual help and of exchange of techniques between model makers so we created E-mail help services, a showcase where modelers can publish their works and a magazine where each month are published step by step articles, new techniques, etc.

This is the way we’ve always interpreted our love for modelling, today JJ Models is a vanguard in this field, but its members are always, first of all……modelers!
