THE ESSENCE OF SLAVERY
What is Slavery? Have you ever stopped for a moment to think about this question? Today we think about slavery just like a -historical- physical way to control people and right now we think that our personal condition is far from being slaves. But when I look inside and outside myself I see many people who -can't live without- cellular phones ...Television...Cigarettes...Internet...etc. and I understand that Slavery have just changed its form. So I try to escape plunging into Art, a personal wonderful universe when there are no limits and even something like Slavery can become a beautiful Artistic form of expression. In the beautiful form of female bodies we see the highest Artistic expression of nature and, like many ancient artists, we use this wonderful creature as universal interpreter of life. The resin and metal kit includes a big and very high detailed structure featuring a bass-releif supporting the sculpture. The chains are included.A new great work of art is going to enrich the New Era Art Series. After -The Good- and -The Evil- we challenged ourselves creating a sculpture that could exceed all that SCULPTING ART has meant until today THE ESSENCE OF SLAVERY, just like THE EVIL and THE GOOD is not only a model, but an artistic interpretation of a beingness, an emotion, a mental and spiritual condition that is somehow part of us.
