Within the Order of Paladins, the Inquisitors are the ones who more respect the rules of their God. The circle of inquisitors has been dedicated for centuries to keep high the name of Dagrail, god of purity and peace, killing all those who could undermine the firmness of its creed.
Sahjax, from the name of the first inquisitor, is the capital of the most important duchy in the western lands.
Here is the center of the inquisitors’ order. Only the greatest crimes are supervised by the order and only the most eminent inquisitors have the honour of being part of the circle of Sahjax.
Criora is one of them and in the hierarchy is second only to Varana, the executioner of Dagrail.
Criora’s brilliant (and ruthless) career is acknowledged and crowned in all the Western duchies. Her deeds are told to the cadets to increase their war spirit and to children before going to sleep to make them dream of being one day just and obedient men. Priestess, warrior, judge and keeper of the word of Dagrail...this is Criora; but she knows that nothing will free her from her main fear...
Her rival of all the time, keeper of a power unknown in the Overlands... her name is Shadreil, concubine of Arhima Bauth Moor; the only creature who can ignore the highest authority after the Executioner and who can subdue the order of inquisitors.

37th day of Unguel year – a powerful mortal from the Saavi (his name is still not clear... Dunaldeen Hil Sheed seems to be, from the latest cronache) consigns to the guards of the order of Sahjax a witch, captured on the burnt coasts of his land.
39th day - Criora, in mission in the Northern duchies, receives the letter from the circle. Shadreil of Arhima is kept prisoner in Sahjax tower.
39th day – Criora goes back to her homeland, in presence of Varana.
With her Himmel, a child who’s been initiated to the inquisitory arts by Criora to be her worthy successor.
